born in Zeist, the Netherlands, started her singing studies with Mariola Niedzielska and Christiaan Boele at the conservatory in Zeist, Hogeschool Helicon. After graduating with a BA in 2005 she continued her studies with Boele for three years at Snellman college in Helsinki, but she studied singing also with Jürgen Schriefer, Christa Waltjen and Sinikka Mikkola. She is working as a performing artist, teacher and choral director in Netherlands and Finland, but has also a passion for composing and arranging.
In this workshop, we will work intensively with more advanced singing exercises, with two main foci: transforming our inner life and developing our vocal abilities to a musically higher level. We will also work on some choir songs. An the end of each session, we will join our voices in a vocal improvisation with inner quality as the theme, to resonate with a higher quality. Please, inform which voice you sing: Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass.
